We ate at Carlito's last night for my birthday dinner. The last time we ate there it was so crowded (Valentine's Day) so the service was not very good, I guess they are not used to a full stream of customers for a whole evening (even though the place is small). Last night the service was great but I was dissapointed they did not have the flank steak available. So we had the macho steak. I must say that it was tender but I much rather prefer the flank. With a name like "macho" I expected a thicker steak.... heheh. It was large but it was Very Thin. I like my steak medium rare but the steak was so thin that there was hardly any room for any pinkness inside. Next time I will call ahead to make sure that the flank is available. Hmm, and to think, the macho is more expensive than the flank.
Everything else was great and if you want a quiet late evening dinner, this is a great place to go. There were only 2 other tables with customers at 8:30 Air Con works very well so it is comfortable too.
