I don't like Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. She's too thin! Kate Beckinsale would have been perfect for that role.

Lynda Carter was rail thin as Wonder woman yet it was well received bec. of how she portrayed the character on screen.

On a side by side comparison. Lynda Carter's WW is definitely skinnier than Gal's WW.

The last thing Im worried about Gal Gadot is her body. She has the body,height and looks to pull off Wonder Woman.
Im worried about her acting chops. I really hope she delivers and knocks it out of the park.

I want a great WW film. Go Gal.

Ok raman si Kate Beckinsale. I just think shes too old. She will be 44 when the movie comes out in 2017. hehehhe. Nya given na this is an expanded DC universe she will need to play the role for at least 10 years... maau gyud na nga actress si Kate ,tungod lang siguro sa iya age mao wala siya na consider for the role.

I respect ur personal choice for Wonder Woman. To each his own.

Ageism in Hollywood

Beckinsale is the same age as Batfleck.

Wonder Woman was rumored to be older in this universe, having participated in World War II. If turns out to be true, the irony of Beckinsale too old to play a very old character.

Then again, I did not have a personal pick to play the part.

Shes completely different to Batman. So i think the criteria for casting the character is really different.
Even though WW is not really immortal, She does age very slowly. Or in some DC universe continuity she doesnt age at all like Earth 16 WW. She could look 30 for a hundred years.

Theres a good reason why they went with Affleck. Their new version of Batman is heavily inspired by Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns. An old,grizzled and world weary Batman. Ben definitely looks the part. Batman is a normal dude who ages normally so the actor must also look kinda old.

I dont really think its Ageism. I think the casting choice was more business driven and its just a better fit to what WB's vision and direction of the character is.

Kate B is beautiful and I love her in Underworld series but she doesn't look like wonder woman to me even when she was younger. A younger Monica Bellucci pa looks the part pero she had R rated movies before so di pod siya mahimung choice to play the role of the heroine. Mao nga ok na para naku si Gal G.
