CI is very much alive, continued by the community... dunno lang if PHP5 na sila...

laravel is alive kay na trend siya... samething with Symfony and Cake...

there is to certain future language sa web dev... kay ang web nag involve...

I didn't really know CI had some recent updates, like CI 3 kay wa nsad jud ko nakagamit nya. At least good thing it is still surviving.

well they should have killed it... since ellislab didnt even bother supporting it anymore...
