yah! most of the basketball fans here in the philippines know by heart who can play fil-am or not, legit or not...it's a sad story in your case since I would assume you set your sights before you played here that you'd make a career out of it and not end up harassed and most of all, ur integrity is questioned....

thanks for explaining regarding ur username...

ey, I'm wondering regarding the state of interest of Fil-Am's in your area in playing here either PBL or PBA, is it still high the way it was before or they're thinking twice especially basing from your case?

Thanks. No problem with the information regarding everything. I'm a put it out there for you guys and let you know the truth! Players come and go there, but the media can make people look bad. I see in the celebrities out there. People knew me in the Philippines and when I was playing, I was a normal guy and I didn't want the fans to look at me as someone above them. I'm from the states. Visiting the Philippines made me a humble person and I never became mayabang!!! LOL...Some Fil-Ams have though. A LOT of them have. Well, gotta get outta here guys. I'll catch up with you guys on Tuesday, Oct. 2, US time. Enjoy your weekend!! J.O

Before I go, I'll answer Borgy's question, regarding Fil-Ams from here going to play there. After all the stories they have heard from all the Fil-Ams who have been shut out, they'd rather stay here and play in Fil-Am leagues. There are FULL BLOODED Flipinos here who don't can't play there because of the rules. Holla at you guys next week!!

I've been browsing through some of the posts here and it seems this is for real, JayRyn seems to be really Jon Ordonio.

Sad to say that it's how things go here in the Philippines, everything is backed by politics and money and the RP Team and basketball as a whole is not exempted from it. Regarding fielding in Fil-Ams in the national pool, I guess what RP wants is to regain the somewhat lost "glory" that RP once owned in basketball so sending Fil-Ams is a more feasible option since they're the better players here in the Philippines. But if they'll be found out that they're not really legit, then that's another story and it would be a very big blow on RP's side.

If you don't mind, could you name some other legitimate Fil-Ams/Fil-foreigners who are no longer playing in the PBA that you know?

yup it's indeed a sad story in his case since he was never given due process in clarifying his nationality and what hurts most is his integrity was questioned during the process of the investigation. well, we'll be waiting Tuesday, Oct. 2, US time to ask him futher questions...hehe
