Hinuon, significantly more expensive ang Intel kaysa sa AMD APUs, so kung budgetay lang, lamang gihapon ang AMD in my opinion.

WTF !! Hahaha pero pagtan-aw nako sa intel ark kay Iris Pro man diay ni nga mga iGPU. Special edition. Abi nakog mao nani norm sa 5th gen CPUs. Pero if mao naman gae, mahal gihapon.

I don't see a reason sad nganung butangan nilag Iris Pro ang i7 series nga ang mga mupalit ana nga gamers will most likely add a dedicated GPU and will make it totally useless.

Sa notebooks though, another story nana. Gamit nah kaayu siya.

kana sila, gi butang na para naa'y magamit dayon right out of the box ang mga buyer para ma set-up ang system nila. this is the main reason why the CPUs have a built-in iGPU. it just a back-up... as well as pwede ra naa'y magamit ang nga mo game ug mga MMO & RTS before. kaya ra man kaayo ni sa intel iGPU na mga gaming titles. some MMO/RTS games will be in lower settings so have a playable fps.

now, kun gamiton ni for FPS gaming titles ning intel HD, HD 2000, HD 2500, HD 3000, HD 4000, HD 4600 GPUs, na, nag yaya lang ang owner... nyahahaha... dili kamao mo basa kay wala nag tan-aw sa minimum system requirements sa game...

now, dili ni nato ma compare sila directly to AMDs APU kay the APUs iGPU was designed for gaming per se in mind...

naa may mga intel CPUs na wala'y built-in iGPUs man pud... akoang gamit kay i5-2550K... naa'y i5-3350p pud... pero, wala'y current high end offering na desktop CPU on intel's side na wala'y iGPU.

wait see lang ta kun mo decide ang intel na mo focus sa iGPU...atoang tan-awon kun unsa ang performance w/respect to AMD's offerings...


by the way, for people that will say that the "i7 desktop variant CPUs" are only a gaming CPU, then, you are wrong... i7 series are used for professional & productivity applications as we'll. they are very powerful in this work loads. gamit ni's mga tao na dili maka afford sa i7 extremes CPU for professional & productivity use.

gamit kaayo ni sila for video editing application... then naa'y mga apps na mo support sa intel CPU to speed up video encoding & transcoding... so, mao ni ang tubag sa pangutana sa inquiry sa taas ni bro Jess_V... limited lang kaayo ang pag tan-aw nato aning i7... dili ang intel ang sayop kundi, kita na mga buta... atoang gi head-on lang ang wall na wla'y lingi2x... ehehehe...

Gamit man gyud ang iGPU. Kung wala nay iGPU like AMD's AM3+ chips nga wala'y output display ang mga MoBo supporting those chips, mapugos gyud ang mga owners ug palit ug discrete GPU. I think gibutang ang Iris to support 4k display.

Mas gamit tingali siya if sa i3 nah nila ibutang ang iGPU para mura nag AMD's APU. Medyu barato, niya dagko ug FPS!
