    Default Photographers shooting for free/cheap?

I donīt have the face or body of a model but I would like to have some photos for own purpose use and was wondering if any good photograpers would be open to shoot some street fashion/retro photos(not studio) for free or at a lower cost, I know professionals obviously wouldnīt offer this but itīs not something I want to spend a lot on as itīs just for own use and hopefully youīd get some good photos out of it as well.

This is the type of photos Iīm referring to:

Actually professionals do shoot for "free" in a sense. In the industry it's called TFP (time for print) where a model will give her time for free in exchange for photos for the model's portfolio. That way a photographer can practice new lighting techniques, poses, processes, or ideas a photographer just wants to get out of their head.

In the end both model and photographer will have new work to keep their respective portfolios fresh. These photos are for portfolio use only as well as for promoting their respective services. Neither are allowed to use these photos for commercial purposes (selling prints, use in advertisements or publications). But a deal can be agreed upon later if decided.

Here in the Philippines these are also called test shoots, portfolio shoots, or x-deals. And instead of TFP some now use the terms TFCD or TFDVD.

    Some of my TFP work...

I know it works in that sense, but I'm asking that way considering I don't have the body or face for modelling the photographers is asking for. People say I can model but I need to lose weight, so it's up to the photographer what they're open for!
    I like your work btw!

Yep, be careful to photographers about the word "free" kay ma high-blood ang kadaghanan ana nila. Hot topic kaayo na... I'm more of a hobbyist photographer and interested on street/documentary photography pero I also shoot events like pub concerts in exchange nga I will shoot for "free" with no watermarks pero credit me as a photographer and also I have the authority to post it on my FB page or Flickr. No model releases needed, after all I'm not in the business man pud, I'm just a hobbyist.
