We have researched and found out that one of the biggest challenges public officials have is the lack of a communication platform, which effectively reaches audiences who want and need public information.


Some have resorted to disseminate information through social networks such as Facebook only to find more counterproductive feedback instead of achieving effective communication.


With this need, a startup venture is creating new platform – publicservant. It is like Facebook but for public officials like you.


So imagine what you do in Facebook, like you share photos of your recent beach party, will now be photos of you attending a recent policy-making conference, a video of you cutting the ribbon at the new health center, or the latest legislation document uploaded to your community board – all these beamed straight to your constituents’ mobile phones.
