Lucifer is an upcoming American television series that is set to air on Fox, and it is a loose adaptation of the comic book character created by Neil Gaiman for the comic book series The Sandman and its spin off comic book series Lucifer written by Mike Carey, both published by DC Comics' Vertigo imprint. The series was officially picked up on May 9, 2015 for the 2015-2016 season and it is scheduled to premiere in 2016.




Lucifer, "who is bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell and resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the beauty of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.

If you plan to watch this, make sure that you will also read the graphic novel. Coz Im sure the series will never do justice compared to what the book delivers. I've read the complete Sandman books and its spin-offs, and by far this is the best spin off there is (along with the spin off of Sandman's sister; Death! Imba sad kaau tong spin off graphic novel ni Death.). Although, reading Sandman, medyo yawa kaau ang papel ni Lucifer daadto sa book ni Sandman kay kontrabida sya.
