nindot kaayo ni na router...
specially with the load balance feature..
also i'm kindna confuse how to setup my connections, need your help guys..
i.e.
option A:
LB604:
port wan1: dsl line1
port wan2: dsl line2
port lan1: switch 1
port lan2: switch 2
option B:
LB604:
port wan1: dsl line1
port wan2: dsl line2
port lan1: switch 1
port lan3: switch 2
option C:
LB604:
port wan1: dsl line1
port wan2: dsl line2
port lan1: switch 1, then one port of switch 1 will connect to switch 2.
which you think is the best connection guys?
The router itself is just fine. I am using it too, your problem might be the setup you want to do, with the switches, not the router itself.
unsay version sa imu d link?
My d-link is DI-LB604 with Firmware 1.01.
But I ordered that router in the US, about 4 month ago, because that router was not yet available here.
I don't know what firmware etc. the version sold here is.
Hi...
You should know what is the IP address of that router, most router has its IP address 192.168.1.1. But if that case your ISP modem/router is the same address with your LB604 you should change your LB604 IP address to 192.168.2.1 to avoid conflict with both ISP router and LB604 router. In most cases, PLDT uses this IP address 192.168.1.1 as their address in their modem/router. Globelines uses the same too with 192.168.1.1. That is why you should change your LB064 to 192.168.2.1 inorder to work that.
isnt option A & B the same except sa laing LAN port? <-- this seems like a better model than the third. less hops
tnx guys
