Good Day,
I got a new phone almost a month already.
Since I'm very keen in almost everything, I got to notice some problems on my new phone.
After 4 or 5 days that the phone was bought, I noticed that the earpiece(the speaker where you can hear the calls) had a problem, so I need to go to service center and they gave me a report to be shown to the store where I bought the phone to had it replace since it's still under 7 days replacement.
Basically the store gave me a new one, then I noticed that the seal on the box was already open so I questioned the sales rep and she told me that it was just open before because they had to check the color of the phone. I initially checked the phone for visible problems but I haven't noticed one (Note: definitely we won't notice something wrong in just a glance.)
I was already using the phone for over 15 days or more already when I noticed that there was a problem on the display. When I used the phone to grab photos which happened at night time, I saw that there was a very weird white tint that only shows if it's dark or also in dark photos.
I looked at it if it was just like sort of a bug since when I transfer photos on the computer it was just okay. The weird white tint was like mirroring every icon on the display(for example, trash icon, send icon, every icons that was currently displayed on the screen).
I decided to go back to service center and politely asked if I can just have it replaced instead of having them repaired it since it haven't used it for like a month and there was a lot of problems on it. They did not grant it so I just had them repaired it, I gave the phone when it's brand new like appearance(aside from the fact that it had a problem on the software side or display).
After 3 or 4 days they sent me SMS that the phone was already fixed, so I dropped by the center and claimed it, before they released it they made me check the phone if it was already fine. I saw a big crack on the side so I asked the attendant what happened to it, she was also puzzled out and someone came and told me that the crack was already there on the first place. I told that there wasn't even a small scratch on it when I gave it, and the attendant also agreed to me since she was the one who received it by that time.(They always indicate the physical condition on the report.)
The other person insisted that there was, because on their copy it was written, so I showed them my own copy that the note she was referring to was no there and basically I know it for sure because I'm the owner.(On this note, they are fooling the customers)
Possibly the big crack was caused by bumping into something hard or may have fall which might cause another problem on the future. Currently they are still fixing the phone and gave me a week from that day and it has been already 4 days now.
What can you suggest to me istoryans? Where should I report this kind of incident from cellphone service centers and dealers?
Thanks, and hoping for your constructive thoughts.
