FYI: Bali 9 is just a name they gave after they are caught there is no actual group nga Bali 9... i said humanitarian and not justice... australian wanted to stop the execution not free them.. basaha ang reason sa australia para masabtan nimo... clemency itself doesnt necessary to free, but rather an act of mercy....

in legal terms it means to lessen or moderate the harshness of the punishment... forgiving a crime its called amnesty remember those 2 words... para maka differentiate ka...
    1. daghan ka pangutana about MLAT base from your post. ikaw ra confuse ana.

wa na nako na gitagaan kay redundant topic na na. Legal assistance gani from Indonesia to Philippines dili na pwede vice versa ang judgement kay each country has its own justice system.

    2. kasabot ko ana issue with the Australian... ayaw pag assume wa ko kahibaw. i know its about clemency.

pangita nalang lain kastorya... naka minus naka nako and libog pud ka kaistorya.

For me she nadala lang sya sa iyang emotions. It's still wrong though. The Philippine government exhausted everything to stop and the execution and it was delayed. Mary Jane Veloso was lucky, others were executed even though they were from 1st world countries. The true suspect to blame in this case is the recruiter. Veloso is just the typical Filipino desperate to get a job abroad. The only solution to all of this is to create decent jobs here in the Philippines first so they won't have to work abroad. The real case behind Veloso's recruiter is still unknown.

    when can MLAT be invoke?

however under Article 15. of transfer siya diris a pinas prisohon gihapon siya in accordance to indonesia's domestic law.

being said, when can MLAT be invoke?, as Art 1 stated to assist in criminal matters, question now is why it took them a while to invoke this?, it is only recent that the suspected recruiter was in custody of the PNP (voluntarily asked for assistance).. why did the govt DIDN'T invoke it even before the suspected recruiter came into light?

since the victim is already in prison in indonesia, she wasnt able to execute a sworm complaint against the suspected illegal recruiter, so why did the DFA/DOJ didnt initiate and get the sworn complaint from her?, did the indonesia govt forbid our govt from doing so?, i dont think so

the govt is aware that MJ "might be" a victim of human trafficking, so why did the govt only at the last minute?, and not on the time where she was caught!, we've been on this road before

you see libog maka invoke ba diay sila MLAT kung walay ang recruiter unsa legal assistance pangayuan nila sa Indonesia? same ra ni sa comment nimo na "it works but need replacing people".

Di sad pwede ma.influence ilang ruling with the case building against MJ's recruiter.

Kung "bata" ako unsa nalang kaha level sa imong utok lol.
