today, we witnessed the clash of two fighting styles: the best offense of this generation versus the best defense of this generation. however, mayweather's defense made pacquiao's offense ineffective in the ring. pacquiao was simply outclassed. yes, the fight was boring. yes, mayweather ducked and ran. but mayweather is 48-0. where there were doubts, now there are none. there is only one crown, let the one king rule.

objectivity aside, i'm so disappointed with this fight. i'm glad i did not purchase a pay-per-view service. boxing is dead. it was fun while it lasted. the real winner though is the BIR, and by extension, the crocodiles in batasan hills and pasay.
