Have you noticed that such statistics never include:

    1. How much of the Philippines has to be protected for forests, wildlife, etc.? Remember, no forests, no water, no oxygen.

    2. How much has to be devoted to the production of food? We can't live among the crops without severely affecting the food supply, can we? We certainly don't intend to live among the cows and pigs.

Apart from that, how much do we devote to utilities, water, electricity, etc.

Theoretically, in terms of land area, maybe you could build 80 million small houses in Bohol, but there would be little or no food, electricity, water, roads or sewage system for that matter.

FYI, the church may not have participated in any government campaign against their so-called anti-OP drive, but they too have programs to actually control it, in natural means of course.

80 million people in Bohol? Murag sardinas na...we might have to sleep standing up.

The church could be blamed partly but the title of the thread says otherwise.

I'd say 20% sa church 80% sa pinoy nga sigi lang ug palami.

that i cant deny that you got me there. hehehehe... but the thing is, saying that the church IS responsible for the overpopulation is unacceptable. errr... logically. i can say, partly. why cant the government stop pornography? in a sense, it triggers the "drive". why cant WE control OP?
