The extra features as scanner and fax are not a selling point in this case. They come in handy but can be bought as printer nr 2. If it turns out they are necessary.
Check the epson L210. We have around half a dozen of that in the office. My unit has had its print counter reset twice already (if im not mistaken, thats 6000 prints each). And it comes with refillable tanks already.
Ive been through a brother 4in1 printer. Didnt last too long. My current home printer is a canon mp497 with wifi but i cant recommend it. The inks are very expensive and easily deplete. So i tried manual injection refill but i cant find any reset software so i have to reset the ink counter manually by factory reset method which is always a pain everytime. Plus the cartridges dont last for so many refills.
