As to Andy Seigle, he was overhyped even when he first came here maybe just because he was a Fil-am so now, it could be bye-bye PBA Career for him
I used to have high expectations on Andy Seigle when he first came into the league. He stands 6'8 and was the top pick in the 1997 draft and most of all, because he's a Fil-Am, along with Nic Belasco during that time. There was too much hype between him and Belasco when they entered the league. Seigle put on a very average show during his rookie season and Belasco didn't have a better one either. Sayang lang kaayo, and with other better Fil-Ams coming into the league, nahanaw ra si Seigle.

Air21 finally showed what everybody should expect from them in the upcoming season. The Express outscored the Ginebra Gin Kings 53-26 in the final quarter and overcame a 71-84 deficit entering the fourth quarter to a stunning 124-110 victory. Rookie JC Intal scored 17 of his 22 points in the quarter while Arwind Santos and NiƱo Canaleta led Air21 with 29 and 22 points respectively.

I watched a few clips from the past PBA seasons, and Seigle really had great promise, problem is he probably thought nga its ok if he doesnt continue to work on his game kay sa una, lisod siya tuod kuhaon one-on-one but the level of competition has risen nya wala siya ka keep up..nya daghan pa jud ayo injury mao sus nahanaw na jud tuod

Egos are flaring in this new PBA season. After Nic Belasco's almost very inconsiderate and seemingly unlimited demands for Welcoat, Andy Seigle asks for a maximum monthly pay from Ginebra of P350,000 per month. Not unless Seigle comes to his senses and accept an amount that's appropriate for his skills, then it's bye bye PBA for Seigle.

Deja Vu? Both Seigle and Belasco are the top 1 and 2 picks in the 1997 draft, the first class that had a Fil-Am as it's top pick. Haven't they gotten over the fact that they're just too overhyped and are no longer among the PBA's elites and better players (maybe Belasco as an exception for this one).

Naghuna-huna siguro ni si Andy Seigle nga pareho siya kamaayo moduwa ni Danny Seigle.

read recently that Andy Seigle got injured while trying out for Red Bull. He was released by Ginebra when he set his terms, mao ray nahibaw-an nako nga benchwarmer nangayo ug maximum pay..the suspected ACL injury he had could spell the end of his PBA career

dako man jud na ulo si AJ Seigle sa una pa..pag-abot pa lang niya diri kay gihilasan naman ko ana niya..he had a good(but not extraordinary) season and was one of the league's aces for the early part of his career but when injuries, better-skilled Fil-ams and more disciplined local ballers came, he was nowhere near the top, benchwarmer na lang gane last season..maayo lang gani kung makadula, maayo pa si Holper mas nagamit pa

PBA adds new rules to make the games a lot more exciting.

1.) The controlled handcheck rule -- proposed by OIC Sonny Barrios. According to Barrios, it is a norm in international competitions
2.) The three point arc is now at 20 feet and 6 inches, from the previous 22 feet and the trapezoid shaped line will be used, just like in FIBA competitions.

The PBA is now starting to incline towards international basketball. Nothing less than the 9th place finish is expected when RP will be playing in FIBA Asia once again. Now the players are more comfortable playing international competitions because of such rules. At the same time, PBA games will be a lot more exciting than before, and probably more high scoring.
