Bantayan Island

I did think about that but I looked on the web and the beaches there do not look as nice as Bantayan, nor does the accomadation, and no power till 6pm!!

The one thing I liked about Bantanyan is that it seemed to bit more 'Local' or more Philipino run than Malaspascua

well if you really want to snorkel

then malaspacua has the best sites.

Actually in bohol don't snorkel in panglao island.

you rent a boat and go to balicasag island. That is where the corals and fish are.

Is there anywhere you would recommend on Malapascua? I definately want a nice white beach and if you can tell me some good snorkeling sites I would be very grateful. I'm trying to get the g/f to take up scuba diving with me. Maybe this time

still the same in panglao

once you arrive in malapascua you can rent a boat and go to the opposite side of the island

that is where the fish and corals are.


Much better if you scuba dive

Shipwrecks are plenty near malapascua

you can see thresher sharks.

bro, go to bantayan island, you can either stay @ Sta. Fe, Marlin, Ogton, Sugar Beach, Budyong Beach Resort...then if you want to go snorkeling, try going to Virgin Island....

Nakaadto na jud ko sa Bantayan! hehehe... Great beach jud. Anyway, I kind of wanted to go snorkeling pero sa Malapascua jud mas nindot.

mmmmm sugar beach!!! nice ang shore line... nya barato pa jud.... akong cottage ngadto nga ako ra usa kay tag 500 with CR nana xa... nindot oist... basta barato ra. gi patay ra ko sa transpo animal. hehe nindot jud i stayed there mga 3days and 2 nights. all alone... bongga diba!? hehe

i've been to marlins last year. their place is the best in terms of accommodation. it's a 2 storey concrete building comparable to a 2 star hotel and they have a 24 hrs security on duty. i also checked kota and budyong. didn't like their cottages.
