hdmi mini as surround sound output

need help here...
im trying to get a surround sound using sony 5.1 dolby surround thru the micro hdmi port of my video card...
ask lang unta ko f mu gana ba...
here's my current set up
i have my monitor (asus vx239h) connected to the main hdmi port of my graphics card (hd 7770)
will my 5.1 sony surround sound works if i place it in the micro hdmi port of the graphics card?
dli man gd makita sa playback devices and on board hdmi sa akong mobo (Z77-D3H)...
sa nakasuway ani or kung naay mas maau nga set up, pls reply...

sayangan kos gasto sa hdmi micro boss hahaha pero kung naa nay saktong budget, paliton ko to..i guess this is the only way to get an answer xD
