Honestly, for me, even if they get Kevin Love for a discount, he's still not worth the trouble. For a team that sucks at defense, adding Love would be a disaster.

I agree with you that it would be nice drafting Okafor or Towns, Towns especially. Then, they could make a run for Tobias Harris for SF. I think if the Lakers would draft Towns, I think they can Lure Harris to L.A.

I'm anxious-excited about the Lakers' chances to pick potential stars. Everything has to go right for them to build a PLAYOFF caliber team (think 7 or 8 seed). They should draft either Towns or Okafor. They should get a good scoring SF like Harris. Kobe must come back still able to score. Randle must recover and develop at the same time. Clarkson's development should continue. Too many variables. Tsk!

if you noticed about doc's teams, boston, orlando, and this clippers, they are a very emotionally cohesive team. doc usually appeals to his player's emotions to motivate them, and commit to each other. plus, i think to say that steve ballmer is a big spender is an understatement... he will not shy away from spending to make deandre stay.

the lakers don't need to contend for the championship next year... but i think they will significantly improve next season.
they just have build on the draft and free agency. randle will surely have his chance to improve his game.

this season was like hitting the bottom for the lakers. you can't go lower than that...

What about SF who plays like nikola mirotic of bulls and bojan bogdanovic of nets.

    Bottom line is, international players.

The Lakers SHOULD try to contend for a playoff spot next year. The Lakers would have a higher chance to grab one of the big name would-be free agents of 2016 if they contend. Falling out of contention would be disastrous for them.

I'd add Giannis Antetokounmpo too if we're talking about international players.

Seriously, the Bucks could go as far as the East championships but talent will want to move somewhere else. Haha.

Giannis was soft kanina, pero I see him like KD if ma improve ang shooting.

murag lisod na ang houston bro... i think dallas is the dark horse in the west. they have a great coach, who is very good at preparing his team for the playoffs. mao unta na akong gusto nga coach sa lakers paghuman sa first three-peat with shaq. wala man kuhaa, kay kahibalo sila murag mobalik pag coach si phil.

Edit: Jalen Rose (grantland): Kevin Love and Rajon Rondo will be with the lakers next season... #prediction2015

Hoping Rondo's attitude problems will change, mao ni ang usual complain sa mga teams nga iyang gduwaan. Unsaon nalang si Julius Randle if KLove will be a Laker, maybe move to SF from PF nis Randle or Center which is probably not a good idea

if they get kLove, they will surely ask randle to play small forward. he handles the ball pretty well for a big guy.

He's likened to a younger Zach Randolph. I doubt he'll be comfortable at the 3. It would be better to insert him in the 2nd team rather than playing him outside of his comfort zone.
