Its not the church's fault. Religion teaches a lot of things, preach a lot of things... a lot of people dont follow it anyway, but if something goes wrong, like over population, they blame the church?

We look overpopulation in an economic perspective here. It's supply and demand, we have too many people yet so little opportunities or we have too many people who are not that competent to have a good and decent job.

@topic: The church even encourages family planning but the problem is people just take it for granted after all, lami man gyud. What the church is against is the synthetic and artificial means of birth control. People always engage in *** and it's either it ends up in pregnancy or prevent pregnancy by the use of contraceptives, and that's where the church comes in.

naa lagie…hehehe example former manila mayor LITO ATienza a catholic and he believes in “prolife”. Kita ka atong Jessica soho na documentary? He(lito atienza) stop giving funds for reproductive health programs like giving free condoms sa health center og ligation(if I remember it right)… because of his stand on “prolife” maski ang mga pobre willing unta to sila mag family planning, but because of wala kayo supportahi ang mga family program.
