not necessarily. normally SM will have premier showing 3 days before the actual release of the movie. im not sure if they will still do that. but you can confirm this with the cinema security guard kanang naa sa kilid sa SM Ticketing Booth. sometimes they sell imax premier tickets a month before the premier showing.

Yeah they sell a month ahead, but I never heard of them showing a movie 3 days before release day, cuz I have been watching midnight showings a lot, from Godzilla(9, Armageddon, Transformers 3 and 4, and almost all Marvel movies that got it(including Amazing Spidey 1 and 2). Its always release date but just midnight. They always give a free poster too.

By the way, SM and Ayala selling tickets already. But no IMAX yet on SM. I hope Convergys wont reserve all the IMAX showing on the first day as they almost always do on a lot of blockbuster movies. Its unfair for hardcore fans, cuz some of the people I know are pissed about this... they are forced to watch non IMAX or wait the next day.

mao ba boss wala na? siguro wala na nila buhata. 5 years ago mag ingon ana mana sila.i remember kato naa pako cebu mo ask gyud ko premier tickets sa guard always showing 3 days before the actual showing. lahi pud nang midnight showing.
