    Default Question

Guys question. I just started Odesk recently. I got a job as a Digital Designer for a locally based design firm in Singapore in Hourly rate as a freelancer, my contract says I can work 8 hours a day. My weekly limit is 45 hours per week. Now here is my dilemma, I actually do not reach my hourly limit each week using the Odesk team App, because I usually finish my design quite fast. Some of the projects are very easy to do and some are not. But even if its hard I cannot reach my hourly limit and the problem is I want to be as trustworthy as honest as possible but at the same time earn as much as I can? What can I do about this?

Ask your client to give you more load so you can reach your weekly limit.

@totoybato15, work smarter not harder. You can ask for a raise from your current employer along with a decrease on your weekly work hours so that you can apply for other commitments as well. So basically, that would mean more earnings, right? It all depends on how you deal with your client though.

Is this your first time working? Pwede pod you will just complete all their weekly demand/workload and then bill as much as you can. Been doing that for almost five years but I was still able to get pay raises. Same ra gihapon na katong naa pa ko nag work sa company, dili online. Example 1000 ang needed target, since kaya naku mahuman na within 3 days. Mag chill2x rako sa 2 days while naa sa company. Pero same ra gihapon ako makuha nga sweldo. Gets nmu ako point?

Maybe someone else could explain it clearer. Or, maybe naa pod lain ika advise ang uban.

Ask for more workload from your employer. This will give him the impression that you work well, and that you are somebody he can keep. Usually muhatag raman ang mga employers ug more workload, and after a few projects, increasan man ka ana nila sa next projects. I didn't have to ask for a raise sauna.

Karon pud if naa ko ihire and tanaw nako sakto ning tawhana, ako raman sad increasan.

Salamat kaayo sa inyong mga reply.
@bounty. Yes this is my first time. Actually I was thinking like that to bill them as much as I can kasi yun naman din ang napagusapan, Pero di ba sa Odesk team app they make a screenshot, is it possible na i-check ng client yun or i- question nila ako and jeopardize my Job?
