We are currently looking for
Content and Copy Writer to be part of the growing Creatives Team of Open Look.
The post to fill in is one of the most creative positions we have in the Creatives Section. He/she will need to have the ability to think outside of the box, have high level of creativity and be able to write well. The opportunity requires excellent writing skills and ability to engage and grow an audience on all social media platforms. The duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
- Write creative, high quality written content for magazines or organization's web presence, designed to engage and delight customers
- Conceptualize, research and identify relevant topics and news stories valuable to its readers
- Maintain a company blog and write articles keeping variety and engagement to increase viewership and traffic to the website
- Create and update landing pages on the site with appropriate and value-added links, images or videos
- Copy edit and proofread all web content
- Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors
The job requires the candidate to posses the following competencies:
- Must posses a Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or related experience
- At least 1 year professional writing experience
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism
- Ability to produce content quickly, calmly, accurately and proficiently under multiple deadlines
- Strong writing, copy editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for details and a style that maximizes web content usability and accessibility
- Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a strong work ethic
- Experience working with Word Press and editing in HTML is a plus
- Willing to work graveyard shift but weekends off
