ya, ngano man jud ba?
mao jud tingali na mentality sa mga piNoy
im not against, but i think bec most of us sakay lng sa uso and catchy rhytmns and pang masa nga melody.. but naa uban sell outs nga nindot jud sab and worth it.
unsa nga sellout imo pasabot? sellout na nag-ilis2x ug genre or sellout na liveband na murag boyband?
*coz theyr in for the MONAY not for the MUZIK
Yes, bcz they're in it for the money...Originally Posted by cebugdev

And sometimes, the bands can't always be blamed for selling out - it can also be due to their label. Also, being in a band, labe na kung mao nana imu sole source of income; you have to sell out sometimes to earn more money so it isn't entirely the artists fault... Count in economic status to that... lol...
good point 0.5331534...
sellout or not basta payter ila music ug dili rapud nasubraan na fad influenced ila genre switching. ok ra ghapon na.hehe
selling out means turning your back on what you love to do, perform, create.. so kung a band has gone mainstream, ask yourself this: Did they choose to change their sound because they wanted to or did they change because they let outside factors dictate their choices? If the answer is the latter, then, they probably have sold out... anyway, i don't really care about that.. what matters is that, whenever a band is accused of selling out, a million other listeners are turned on to their music... but i still believe that there should always be a certain measure of creativity involved.. dili lang porke magbuhat ka ug kanta na murag otcho-otcho...
Agree with Tha Truth and Cujo!!!...
Kung gnhn jpn ko sa music sa banda even if they sell out - I'd still listen to them... Music mn akong gi-apas not the "state of being cool" lol...
