you read the proposed BBL and you don't believe it. in other words, not all those who come to read it will believe it because you don't believe after reading it. that is good. that is the essence of democracy. i always believe the proposition of J. Holmes that the ultimate good desired is better reached by free trade of ideas, that the best test of the truth is the power of the thought to get itself accepted in the competition of the marketplace of ideas.
