hi peeps good day. ask ta ko regarding sa inyong call/email volume sa qbe?

i work in operations in the comings and goings regarding work volume sa usa ka BPO. Sadly it seems i have been stuck here in my position for almost two years without any chance of a promotion in the foreseeable future. so gusto ko magtry sa qbe bahalag agent balik because as they said they are an actual company not like bpo companies that are constrained to client volume/demands since they are in itself their own client.

again being operations, kahibaw ko nga if taas ang volume sa work from the client/company, that would mean more jobs and more growth. i am a bit doubtful on the company's stability if makadungog ko ug feedback, correct me if i am wrong, nga pwede ra mag fb in shift or magstream in shift ang mga agents and/or leaders while waiting for the shift to end kay wala na kaau work.

as an employee that perk would be awesome!!!

so, first question is it really company policy to allow streaming and opening social media online within shift. secondly, if volume is minimal that would allow agent and or leaders to stream and or open social media online due to low volume, how can i be sure that the company is stable/secure?

a company is and will always be for profit first and foremost. it will not give any second thoughts in cutting people just to make a profit.

i am sure i am generalizing all departments, which i do apologize, but i would like to have some idea before i decide to jump ship, so to speak, and then to find out that the ship is leaky.

i apologize for those who read this would think that i am trying be negative towards qbe but i am not, i am just trying to decide for my future. i guess i want from a company is stability first and a high salary second.

I can only speak for my workstream.. sa amoa, dli uso an IDLE time kay gabaha an work but we do find ways na magka browse. We have access sa FB but on scheduled time lang.. dli open an FB anytime, naa ray time na available lyk before 6AM. But other sites like Youtube, ok ra anytime.

Just like some account sa BPO, naay account na relax lang, while others nagkamatay matay an load sa wrk. Same ra sa amoa, depende sa workstream nmo. For example, an kanang mga night shift sa Australian Operation, expected na chill ra kau cla since an ops is pang buntag man. So igka gabie, dli heavy an vol sa calls nla. Same ra sad na sa uban acct sa BPO, an pang buntag na shift sa US na acct kay dli kau heavy an queuing.

Stability? More than 100 yrs old na an QBE. But for us here, the shared services, too early to tell. But we took the risk when we started here last year. So far no regrets pa... Naay mga lapses, but we have to think lang na part ra na snce ga start pa an company here

Pero kani amoa dili ra kayo mi pahalata and we make sure mn pd nga before mi mag browse among work mahuman lng jd..

Kung ang stability lng sa QBE maka engun ko nga stable pani siya kysa mga call center company..
