Fiber has both voice and data and even video (IP TV) for packages at least 1299. Problema lang kog mag brown out wala sad kay dial tone. For those having higher speeds more than sa ilang package that's because deli pa kaau daghan and subscriber ana na certain area, so dako pa ikapa share nga bandwidth from the equipment to the subs. Nya kabalo naka business strategy. But expected fiber is more reliable (daghan advantage) compare to copper. I believe FTTH is the future of communication labi ma resolve and issue regarding brittleness/durability and power source issue.
Wa jud dial tone because fiber is very different with pstn lines aka landlines. Fiber medium has no way can carry electricity or power. So if brown out imong voip hardphone patay pod hehe! Mao nga dili sya applicable if need jud landline communications. Or better yet invest in a ups that can power hardphones for weeks.
For those using kasda modems, especially kadto nag problema nga mag intermittent mokalit og hang up or mo steady ang int light. I have Kasda firmware dated Feb 2, 2015. Problema nako unsaon pag share, any idea kung unsaon madali, kung mahimo dle nalang through email. Very busy perme pud.
Indeed but.., for PSTN, those NGN or whatsoever source equipment coming from the central office (CO) and with tel cab which only serves as a relay (copper connection from CO to tel cab) to subs premises in case of power outage/failure naa jud dial tone gihapon because the CO can still supply required amount of electricity using power generator. But for those PSTN, having equipment outside the CO also called curbside equipment (fiber connection from CO to tel cab/equipment), in case of lengthy power outage ang mahitabo mawala pud ang dial tone (approximately if more than 3 hours power outage depending on battery quality) kay wala man power generator na mo supply og electricity outside.

Hope wala ko naka break og rule?
No rule broken.. Is it a bin file? Do you have the file jud mismo or you are referring to the current rom running in your modem? Hehe
I have no idea if you can dump the firmware from a running modem. I believe telnet have file transfer capabilty? - also subject if the modem supports it.
As far as I know most modems and router are one way when dealing with firmwares, that is uploading or upgrading.
Yes I have the file, Disc Image file (.img) format, it's only 1.55MB. I hope this will help for those having issues with Kasda modem, but if line na jud ang problem dle ni mag silbi.. I even have proper WAN config set up for kasda modem. Pro ang importante etry lang ang update.
bro, salamat sa reply pero honestly wala ko kasabot. ang akoa nalang gibuhat is login as "adminpldt" and went to MAC ADDRESS list to allow only my devices to login to my network.
