    sa kadtong mga nag quote sa akoa about atong change ug firmware, naa nay nag pm nako then ako ra gi linkan sa kadtong akong gibuhat before kay looooong ago na ko nag change sa firmware mga 1yr kapin najud and i really can't remember it all. Google is your friend and mine, it was the one who taught me, or at least directed me where to learn.

    regarding sa pag shoot sa akong speed up to more than the advertised max, i really think it all has to do with the REMOTE IP, not the firmware itself. BUT if the firmware itself prevents your modem to get a certain range of REMOTE IPs, then I can say nga the firmware makes a difference. --- that however that i'm not sure of.

    I noticed man gud everytime mu restart ko or mu release/renew sa REMOTE IP before, mu change ang akoang ping to certain servers (SC2 servers as an example) which means ni change ang routing, etc. Aside from the routing, I also think nga mao nang mu fluctuate ang speeds depending on the time of the day kay ma congest ang certain Point of access/common point kung asa ka nag connect due to more people connecting (hence the time of the day factor). Once ma change na ang REMOTE IP, it will either get WORSE or BETTER. I've experienced both but more on the latter.

    Mao tingali kanang manawag mo ug network support first step jud nila aside from the obvious checking your physical setup kay RESTART ROUTER para ma refresh ang inyong connection.

    TOO LONG, DIDN'T READ?
    Kung mag restart gani mo sa inyong modem/router, don't settle kay abi na restart na mao nana. Check your remote IP to make sure nga na change jud which would tell you nga na refresh imong connection or naka connect ka to a new remote IP.

    HOW YOU ASK?
    Go to speedtest.net and check out that IP on the bottom left
    -or-
    open up your modem/router webapp and check the "Default Gateway" under the "System" column (in my case, using a ProLink H5004N with default firmware)

    good day mga bro,

    among PLDT wala gihapon dial tone till now ni kalit lng sia ka wagtang ang dial tone last last week (Jan 29, 2015). Naa mi sa Junquera nag rent dapit. Sige ko tawag sa 171 pero ang i tubag part daw ug "major cable trouble affecting several subscribers"

    ask lng ko if naa ba naka suway ani diri? nia mga pila ka days nila na action-nan? kay basin mag huwat ko ani ug pila ka buwan una ma restore nila.

    major cable trouble (MCT), mostly hinungdan ani stolen cable or naputol ba for any reason might be primary or secondary.. Actually ma actionan man ni dayon once ma report, but ang problem usahay ang span sa time pag restore kay mag depende sa gibag.on sa affected cable (pila ka pairs) para mahuman og splicing.. And also, once nga considered human na ang pag splice, naa gihapon ma paltos nga pair sa pag splice tungod sa kadaghan man gud.

    Kay nagkabati na man ang Smart LTE karon, plano unta kong mo kuha og PLDT MyDSL High Speed Plan 4000. Any subscribers here nga pwede makahatag nako pros and cons sa PLDT MyDSL Lines is much appreciated. Thanks.

    ^^ ang ako lang gyud maikasulti bro, wired internet is better than wireless internet... mo unstable man gani ang wired, how much more sa wireless...

    personally, i won't go back to wireless internet maski LTE pa na (except nalang siguro kung wala na gyud choice)...

    Ako net putol2x for several weeks. Niabot technician g.ilisan ako modem. He said nga out of warranty na ako modem and i have to pay 1,200 para sa modem or bayaran nalang syag 600 para naa kuno 50% discount. Dili diay included ang modem sa akong plan?Or I smell something fishy here... Kinsay istoryan naay similar experience nako? TIA
