i will post pics soon for you to see, dont use sand paper even the 2000, theres a rubbing compound meant for glass and windshields (not the ones used for paint scratch). the application is simple, you need clothe preferrably microfiber (x2) one for application and one for checking the effect. combine with water (just a spray when it starts to dry out). maybe i should make a video out of it.

lastly, limpyohan jud ang wiper blades kay i think mga small rocks or heavy dust ni accumulate sa blade then samad na ang windshield. though the scratch i have on the car due to windshield is deep, that one i failed to remove kay lawm na, but then i take out 90 percent of the very find scratches which is filling 80 percent of the windshield nga resulting to problematic flaring from lights during night. the only issue i could see is you need a lot of patience when buffing coz it takes considerable time in buffing out the scratch using buffing machine. i tried hand buff, but i only manage to clear out around 2 square inch scratch in almost an hour.

above is my diy buffing tools. if you have those dedicated buffing tools, could probably improve the ones i have.
i use dabest polishing cream - you should be able to find these in hardware stores sa mall.

if your like me using a drill, make sure you turn down the speed to lowest while buffing. you can also do it using hand grinder.

and for my video, i wasnt able to do so due to time constraints this weekend, sorry guys. i only manage to even spend half an hour and some photo for all you guys to see.

You can probably use a fine polish for the job. But, It won't remove below surface scratches, you need Ceramide for that and a medium or heavy cutting pad. Removing scratches on glass is harder compared to paint.
