This is the first time I have posted a note on any forum. I am just climbing the learning curve on this Quebec Skilled Worker Program. As far as I can tell, everything Magic7 has posted is correct.

Can anyone confirm, upon arrival in Quebec (Montreal airport) the applicant is granted Permanent Residence status?

Does the applicant arrive in Quebec not only with Permanent Residence Status but also with a Quebec RN job offer?

Has anyone gone through the Quebec RN licensing process?

I understand all of the Provincial Nominee Programs(PNP) require the applicant to be working in a province or territory other then Quebec usually for 6 to 9 months before applying for Permanent Residence(PR) Status through the respective PNP program.

Can you confirm that under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program the applicant would be granted PR Status upon arrival in Quebec(usually Montreal Airport)?

Or is PR Status granted at the first Canadian Port of Entry (eg Vancouver Airport, YVR) before the applicant continues their travel to Quebec?
