@annie: do you by any chance like the world of Harry Potter because of magic? or plot? If by magic, have you heard of Magical Xanth by Piers Anthony? Its a whole new perspective on magic yet primitive to Harry Potter.

@jiggs. no havent heard of that--if by any chance that wud make me sound like im living in a locked tower up in the mountains, maybe i really am. i was sold to the notion of having a secret magical world--and the concept of Muggles was something i have long ago envisioned in my kid daydreams..hehe. dibah usual naman sa mga bata yung imaginary playmates? those who laugh when they catch me talking to myself were labeled something like but more derogatory than "muggles". and rowling is one heck of a laugh out loud writer.

@angelfyre: i have an automatic reserve mechanism in the person of my cousin who's in the states he buys the books for me. as in first week it hits the shelves in the US.

@blade: i think i agree with you.cho seemed like a girl who cant decide on who she wants more and strings the two guys along in an effort at decision making. i liked cho before goblet of fire if only because she's asian...but then she became just another weepy girly gurl. heck. maybe that's how british teenage girls act.joke.

si harry kay pa-low key effect raman,growing up as deprived and repressed as he did,unlike his father nga i assume was not an orphan who wore handmedowns and slept in a cupboard.

true...true but even if hary didn't have the flamboyancy of his papa james, he still had the knack for being right smack in the middle of everything that was going on. pero I guess they were not meant to follow the same path. I agree that a harry hermiyowninny relationship is out of the question-bagay sila si hermiyowni and ron kung nganu pa man gud nga nagbinugo pa man si cho! hahay! cho chang! ikaw na unta to among pag-asa...hmph!!!

i dont like cho. i never liked her. weepy, oa, fickle-minded...bsides d kaau sya maau sa quidditch man pd. pa charming effect lang. bagay cla ni cedrick! for me, maypa c harry n luna than cho. or anybody but cho. hav u seen d girl hus going to play cho? wat a disappointment! i was expecting a looker ky ibog gud c harry...so-so ra man..i was thinking mga parehag looks anang uyab ni clark kent sa smallville. or dat korean star BoA [dis one, wafa jd].

@anniepetilla: last yr wen d book was released, it was simultaneous wid US. as d stores in d US opened 2 release d book, so was national bookstore sm. i got mine at 5 am here. heaven gud kaau ko ato. i dnt wake up @ 5 am...but for hp, i did! )

@angelfyre: hahaha.ako di mapakali pag pinag-uusapan na sa schoolyung title tapos walapakong book. but it turns out na ako palagi ang nauuna and i collected a lot of friends that way,kasi ako hiraman ng libro. para akong bata noh.hahaha. i dont like cho na rin kasi parang maarte na paimportantekesyo crush siya ni harry. u know i saw the photos sa audition for Cho'srole?grabe ang linya oi. as in. i agree.i was expecting somebody prettier.

incidentally,leafing through order had me thinking about the mention of Dumbledore's brother called Abeforth who was in the photo which Moody showed Harry during the congratulatory party for Hermione and Ron for being Prefects...has he anything todo with the HAlfBlood Prince?
ahh...farfetched...but surely he'd be in the next book?
