Nokia E61i flickering problem

Nokia E61 or E61i owners, does your phone flicker in the lower portion of the screen when composing a text message specially after the first line?

Does this have a solution? I have the latest firmware.

I've got the same thing. I think its software. When I got the phone it already was updated to the latest version and it still had that problem. Its when you fill the 1st line and then it moves the cursor to the 2nd row that it flickers for a half sec... right?

You guys are better off. Mine does not anymore ring after i upgraded the firmware. It's now under repair.

so far that's the only bug iv gotten. yahoo go works on the phone, so does flickr for skype usage. naka tawag nako VOIP on skype and very clear ang reception. its amazing! best phone iv ever purchased. I wouldnt even think of buying the e90 after getting this phone. 3.2mp camera and gps, who needs them anyway! be pratical. using the camera on the e90 makes us look funny! its like holding a brick and taking a photograph. at the same time, using gps on the screen open and walking around a city

that would look funny.

its a great phone. The only major drawback is the display setting is 320x240, most nokia's are 240x320 hence some programs might not work right. nokia also locked a LOT of certificates so you only certified certificates.

my experience with the phone has been a most enjoyable one. I would recommend this to anyone who doesnt mind using such a wide phone. It is very wide but very thin. about as tall as my k800 but wider than even an e90. but thin! really very thin.

YUP, after the first line and sometimes after the succeeding lines.
