    I still use vim at work, but not at all times. A lot of legacy network equipment are running on bash only. and servers.

    some find VIM too hardcore specially nag dako ug mga modern IDE, i only use VIM if there is a need for direct access since most shell have VIM or nano (sometimes), but i do missed coding in it *look MA! no MOUSE*

    its not about the language since vim is text editor can open almost anything text based... its more of necessity and preference.... who ever love vim is a masochist... hehehehehehehe i use vim but as much as possible i try not to...

    wa nay pili.... maka open na... but if you are asking for syntax highlighting, well no, vim is text editor like notepad... not code editor... though there might be some extensions nga mo hightlight, ive seen nano before used as perl editor before...
