Default Canon 7d Mk1 Vs. Canon 5d MkII

I am asking for your opinion...

I am considering upgrading to a Canon 5d MkII for now coz' I can't afford yet the MkIII...can you, or anybody help me decide on which camera is better?

As of the moment, I'm really enjoying my Canon 7d compared to Canon 60d. It has a nice built and grip. Quite heavy, though but I like it coz' it's so reliable. I'm using it all the time.

What are the Pros and Cons if you compare 7d MkI vs. 5d MkII?

    Any thoughts is highly appreciated...

if na lingaw ka sa imu camera ayaw nalng ug upgrade in my opinion, nganu naka consider ka mo upgrade?

to put it bluntly... no matter what camera you use your shots will still be the same, kay ang settigs ug ang timpla mismo naa man gud nimo..

I was faced with similar situation. If you are into actions, sports photography, its best to go with the 7d, it has faster focus and burst shots, on the other hand, with the 5D, the resolution is higher, handles noise better in low light but lacks speed in capturing focus. You might also need to consider upgrading the CF card, since Full frame 5D gives you a bigger file size compared to the cropped sensor 7D.

If you are into studio shots, and portraits landscapes, i'd go with the 5D. Boss, tigom nalang gamy para you can have both 7D and 5D. heheh.

Para nako Canon 5d MkII, mas nindot FF. action/sports depende ra cguro na sa lens. Mas nindot gyud ang quality sa pic sa FF.

for practical reason getting an FF maybe an overkill for a task that prosumer-cropped-sensor camera can do, then again its all about preference... over needs and wants... just follow where heart goes... but for me... i always follow the needs... atleast i could spend the extra cash for better lens..

This is a very hard question to answer. But if you are limited to 1 body only and if you feel like you need the speed more than what the 5D has to offer then get the 7D and buy a 5D later or vice versa.

don't sell your 7d...but buy a 5D MK II..lahi2x mn na ug gamit bossing.

7d would be ideal for sports, birding, and a longer reach

5d would be ideal for portraits, landscapes, wide angles, and low noise.

or sell your 60D and buy a 5d
