What you said is consistent with the things i have read about that format. I guess its not yet very mainstream yet because of current hardware limitations.
FLAC is still the go-to format then.

Exchange lang niya ta files puhon sunod meet. Gamay pa ako FLAC collection.

most of the new DACs coming in are now starting to support DSD decoding. my guess is that, DSD may be the standard in a few years (for audiophiles that is). MP3 is still king for non-"picky" listeners lol

Happy was I that I received my vintage NOS RAYTHEON 6F8G for an upgrade project on my tube buffer w/c has Electro Harmonix 6SN7, the project went SOUR as the other Raytheon tube was a DuD


The 6F8G Raytheon Tubes looks nice but depressing when powered-ON

Good Evening, Got this unit from Singapore. Its a Tube Buffer only, not a pre-amp but YAQUIN also have pre-amp models, I don't know if some shops in Manila are selling, I've been looking for this for quite a while nasad. Its bang for the buck Tube Buffer around $230 & have plenty of DIY upgrades that could bring wonders. palpak lang ang akong upgrade, Hehe.

take the leap. its just domestic shipping. the worst case you can experience is a 2-day delay.
Its entirely a different story if its international shipping though.
