I also had a bad experience with speedmastr, a few yrs ago nagpa change oil ko, g bilin ra nko awto then pick up my car thn a couple of days na flat tire ko, then wen i was about to change into my spare tire, dli na mao ang tire, g ilisdan nila og hilis kaayo! New spare tire rba unta to, ang insik/owner wlay pake lng pag reklamo nko, speedmastr s a scam!

@kazki. The service that i request is so simple. In fact the service that i ask them are bonus jobs for them. Tire rotation and nitro air11. For most shops these are extra income just like tire patching.

@kazki, serbisyo baya sila dba? unless wlay SERVICE nka butang sa ilang shop. pure ra SELLING... kung naa gani kay shop and youre accepting services like TUNE-UP, CHANGE OIL, WIRING, etc... meaning mo accept ka kung unsa pay dala sa customer.

example bro, ang ROADSTAR (mabolo) ngpa change oil ko sa akong sakyanan nila pirmi pero akoa ang oil, and nindot gihapon ilang service sa akoa... so whats the cookin problem ana?

example yamaha, mgpa maintenance ko sa akong motor sa ilaha pero akong gamit nga oil kay SHell AX7, wla ko nagamit sa ilang YAMHALUBE...nindot pa kaayo serbisyo apil pa ghapon mga preventive maintenance... so whats the cookin problem ana?

FREE WIFI PA!

TLDR - "Tyre Shops", sir.. please don't derail topic. "Tyre Shop" is the topic, not garage/service centers (these are 2 totally different scenarios). Please read my posts again so you'll know what I mean.

Long story short - kung aha ka mupalit og brand new nga ligid, adto na ipataud... ayaw og sa lain ipataud. Ka-simple ra man tawn ani nga logic oi... di pa jud masabtan.. /facepalm.

TS stated that the tires and rims were bought in Manila. With all due respect, did you mean Sir that TS should have instead brought his Fortuner to Manila just to have its rims and tires replaced?
I think regardless of what services they offer, shops should always make sure that they give the best quality service to their customers since that is what to be expected. And it may be true that mistakes happen, proper management in handling customer complaints should be done/practiced.
A lot of vehicle owners do the same with what TS did, buying tires/rims from shop A, and then have them installed in shop B. If shop B does not want to change the tires since the owner did not buy them(tires) from their shop, then I guess it's not difficult to refuse/say No, rather than doing something that will give inconvenience to the owner.

Just my 2 cents. Happy New Year!

Sir, my previous post was pointed to the derailment issue by the one who compared tyre shops with service centers.

As for your quote, this is pretty illogical, if you ask me. Fitting and balance are usually free if you purchase a brand new set of tyres in a particular shop... I don't think "a lot of owners" are doing what you have stated in this statement. Why would you pay extra for someone when you can have it done for free?!

Anyway, most of the people in here misunderstood my point. I'm not taking sides on anyone (TS or Speedmaster) but was pointing out that "tyre shop owners" will do the job but will not be happy with that kind of approach (expect disgruntled service on this). It is hard to educate people on this topic. Please close this thread as this is mainly now bashing "Speedmaster" and that TS is the "supposedly" victim...to the point of necroing it 1 year later.

^daghan man sad mamaligya og ligid pero wala sila anang pagta-ud. so, daghang cases nga mupalit ka sa shop A, pata-ud kas shop B. @kazki, simple ra gyud kaayu na. di na sila ma "disgruntled" as you eloquently put it kay part na sa ilang service. maayu unta og libre na but TS paid for it and deserves the proper service. kung ingun ana atong mentality nga "disgruntled service" atong makuha og magpa service ta sa usa ka service center nga dili maoy atong gipalitan og ligid, maympag di nalang sila mo offer ana kay nay daghan willing and able mu trabaho.
