globe is just worst when it comes to this...

another example that a huge company doesn't necessary mean they have the smartest minds on them - #1 example is microsoft's ever dead IE (the #1 browser people use to download another browser). Ayala company man unta ni, pwera gaba.

Sa website lang daan sa globe, ang ilang "plans" perting liboga.

Unsa kalibog? Asta ilang mga ground front personnel wala kasabot.

Last time I talked to a globe branch manager kunohay, cge pa siya panawag sa lain nga tao to verify akong pangutana about capping.

Now, all postpaid plans under consumer accounts are capped DAW. Ang ilang business postpaid wala DAW.

    Kamo maka verify mo ani?

Kay for sure dili gihapon ni reliable information and it'll differ from 1 account to another in terms of experience.

Ever since, gusto jud ko magnegosyo ug fiber provider to compete with Globe and Smart/Sun, giving out a maximum speed of 80 mbps, compared to the usual 750 KBps up to 2 mbps. Lami unta kau ni, mahutdan gyud ug customers ning mga buwaya.

Pero makabuang ang networking costs ug government permits. Dli ta maka-collateral sa bank because my business structure is a no value. So lisud magloan.

Also, it needs investors who are willing to wait years for a profit and the up-front capital costs are huge. If I can't take a sizable chunk of customers away from the area's incumbent Internet provider, it may never recover the initial costs. As a newcomer, my company will be a real threat to the incumbent (Globe and Smart), I might need a bunch of lawyers to fend off frivolous lawsuits designed to put us out of business. Globe and Smart have an army of lawyers tasked to destroy those little start up fiber providers.

As usual this will fall into deft ears. No action.. no nothing.. keep the status-quo.

toink sayop imo pag sabot atong ZTE/NBN deal, lahi to ilaha... they are to provide broadband connectivity sa govt and not public... it is to link all LGU and agencies

After months of complaining about lousy connectivity my ISP's "solution" was to bill me an addition 700p per month for a static IP. Can you believe it?... You have to pay extra to get something that resembles what you were originally promised! Crazy place.

That is why our isp's sucks.. they only care about us paying our monthly bill or loading prepaid internet.. but service wise they don't really care kasi bayad na eh.. there is now way for a thumbs up...

Haha.. it's common even sa sun and smart.. how can you trust a product from a big company when even a manager doesn't even know the hell about the product or services they are offering...
