well what i feel is that people avoid the topic of money because it makes them feel bad... and i think money is so much involve in our lives that we automatically think that "i should know this" or somehow i magically now how to handle money. Nobody taught us how to handle money, not even in school. So the question is, after all this time, are we not mature enough to talk about money objectively?
