for tonight, since the pair of Antminer S3+ is about to arrive... either tomorrow or on Tuesday, I purchased a while ago the PSU that will provide juice to the pair... its a Huntkey X7 1000W PSU... priced at 899 rmb... roughly, 6,563 php equivalent... the price is not bad... not bad at all... very affordable... +12V = 80 A... its enough to power 2 x Antminer S3+...

^ thanks bro strife. nice ni sya na PSU. high end model series ni sa Huntkey ang X7... power drain from the wall on the 2 x antminer S3+ is 720W and current drain from the wall is 3.653 A. Antminer S3/S3+ DC load is at 30.5 amps each. so, for the pair, 61 A sila. swak ra sa X7. plenty of of head room pa kay 80 A man ang max load sa X7... good kaayo sya for the pair of Antminers S3/S3+. i'll buy another one X7 1000 W puhon para isa na lang ang PSU para sa 1st antminer pair pud. samok kay currently, nag tagsa man to sila'g PSU (Segotep RP Plus & Antec Neo Eco). mo occupy ug space... wala man gud to nako na dungan ug palit ang 1st pair of S3 pud...

by the way, design ni sya to power workstations and servers mobos. na ni sya 2 x 8 pins power connector for mobo (as can be seen sa akoang gi share na image in the previous page)... the usual na consumer grade PSU kay either 1 x 4 or 1 x 8 pins power connector ra man ang available... one step further ni sya...

RJ45 na sya... lan cable... mao ni ang flow...

Antminer <---> 8 port switch <---> 5 port switch <---> router <---> fiber optics cable box...



kana diay 2nd RJ45 kay mura'g naa sa PSU naka connect sa akoang gi share na image. actually, naa na sa bottom S3+ naka connect... optical illusion ni na angle diay dah... hehehe...
