I found a video on youtube with the same title as this thread, while searching for ways to improvise one Filipino inventor's solar bottle light. The problem with a solar bottle light is that it needs to be attached directly to the roof that has no ceiling. Fiber optic cables on the other hand, can reach up to 50feet before the lighting starts to be inefficient.


Only a solar power collector and optical fibers are needed.
