which of the two is prone to cancer?
the point is food is mainly cause of cancer, not the sleep.
even if we work on graveyard shift if we eat healthy foods and we don't smoke and drink it less to have cancer compared with people who sleep at night but does smoke and drink... [br]_________________________________________________
if that's all you understood after reading -if you even cared to read- all the articles and videos posted on this thread; that only food causes cancer, then it's up to you, it's your life. you can believe in whatever you believe in, nobody's forcing you here.
here's a report from WebMD that IT'S NOT ONLY FOOD that causes cancer:
"This month, the World Health Organization's cancer division will classify shift work as a probable carcinogen - just like anabolic steroids, ultraviolet radiation, and diesel engine exhaust."
WebMD
ANABOLIC STEROIDS is not FOOD
ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION is not FOOD
DIESEL ENGINE EXHAUST is not FOOD
but hey, all of them causes cancer if exposed to in large dosage.... hmmmmm...
even if you eat healthy, don't smoke and don't drink alcohol excessively BUT are exposed to the above examples, then the risk is still high that you may develop cancer. got it?
so after the WHO classified
NIGHT-SHIFT WORK as a probable carcinogen -just like the three mentioned- then no matter how healthy your food intake is, no matter how you shy away from alcoholic beverages and don't touch a stick of ciggies in your whole life, YOU are still prone to developing cancer
IF YOU WORK THE NIGHT SHIFT for a long period of time.
what's so hard to understand about that very simple explanation?
maybe you need to read a lot of references from now on and don't believe on Cancer Research UK solely. just the same as when you need to get a second opinion from another doctor on your afflictions, get another source to compare with, so you won't be a human guinea pig in the process.
