Cebu City Post Office Bad Exprience

Katong naa sa states nga gusto magpa dala ug butang diri sa pinas i johnny air nalang 660 for 2 lbs i think nya 2 weeks abot na... Naay extra kung ipa house to house. Kung gadget i send, mas mahal gamay ang sf pero sure na di mo agi sa custom wa nakay baryan sa custom. Naa ra sa sm ang pick up naa clay office didto

Just wanna share what happened after I posted here about my undelivered package in case there's someone else here who needs reassurance of the reliability of our mailing system. :P Well, turns out I got my notification from the post office that day (around 5 PM-ish?) when I first posted here. Figures. Hehe

So the very next day I went there to pick it up. My boyfriend sent it from Florida via USPS Express Mail on December 19, 2012... It arrived in the Cebu post office pag January 7, 2013 as was stamped on my notification thingy. I dunno ngano dugai kaau nila gi release. Tinapol cguru, who knows. But when I did get the package handed to me, it was intact. Hallelujah. I was expecting it to be tampered with (in our country, who wouldn't??) but thankfully it wasn't. They had me pay 45 pesos (*phew~) before they said they had to open the box in front of me at the counter.

When the guy there opened the fancy jewelry box and saw what's inside it, he kept asking me "Is this white gold? Are these real diamonds?" etc... I don't know why either but I guess it's to have me pay more for tax if it really was more expensive than they thought? Either way, I kept saying I didn't know (even if I did. Hehe) because gift rman tuh siya. And it helped I guess nga my dad was hovering over my shoulder watching us closely... I brought him with me after I read other people's reviews about being fooled into paying more than they should. Anyway, I told him to look intimidating in case they try to weasel more money from me. LOL. Plus there was also this Korean woman nearby screaming her head off at some employees nga na ablihan daw iyang package nya daghan daw nakawat sa iyang box. Toing. :P

All in all, I'm just relieved mine got here in one piece.

ako ning buhion balik na thread kay naguol intawn ko sa mga prizes nako gikan australia and korea until karon wala pa. napangutana na nako ang nagpadala niana sila napadala na daw nila. ang katong sa australia regular mail raman daw to so walay tracking number and napadala niya september pa, december nalang wala pa gyud. ang usa ka package not sure if naay tracking number pero napadala niya mga october. hala oi! unsaon man intawn ning post office sa cebu kahinay ba, niadto na diay ko pag last nov. 20 para mag inquire sa packages pero wala pa daw. huhuhuhuh
