I dont think a single dose of this product can flush the carbon deposits on a year use of unleaded gas boss, unlike if you use a fuel with less carbon soot in the first place, siguro on a monthly basis or every full tank kana mas maka less siguro ug carbon build-up because it acts as an octane enhancer sa regular unleaded gasoline...carbon soot build-up in the catalytic converters also are very hard to flush, the only remedy is to replace it with new ones, unlike if you use higher octane fuel in the first place mas minus gyud to ug carbon soot, kung naa man gani microscopic na kaayo that it can just be flushed away together with the exhaust gas...
It won't really make much difference, boss. I would understand using high octane fuel if you're into racing etc as every HP counts in lap times; but for a normal daily driver - you wouldn't really notice much difference and it would totally be extra load on your pocket if you spend money for it.
Fuel injector cleaner every service are more than enough and are cost-effective solutions, which do the same thing at a fraction of the cost. Even if you have to replace a catalytic converter (which is a bit extreme), is still cheaper than maintaining unnecessary expensive fuel.
Videos are really "commercial" input from shell... I wouldn't be surprise if they make an unnecessary commodity sound like something that one "should need". Factory manual would still be the one I would follow.

Just my observation:
When I first had my car, I just used the Fuel Save from Shell. It used to have a 93 octane rating. Then last year or 2 years ago I guess, it changed to 91. I noticed a decrease in power, so I shifted to Nitro+ with a 95 octane rating. There was an increase in power, but somehow the engine is not that silent compared to using a 91 or 93 RON. So I shifted back to 91 hehe
Below are the average mileage I got using different types of unleaded gasoline in Shell (I haven't tried other brands for my car)
Car: Vios A/T
Shell Fuel Save (93 RON) - 12.5 km/L
Shell Fuel Save (91 RON) - 10.5 ~ 11 km/L
Shell Nitro+ (95 RON) - 12 km/L
I think the reason why some have a low mileage when using gasoline with higher octane rating is because they love to race(figuratively) already hehehe
As for the topic, I'm not sure if the government checks the fuels of each gasoline station when they renew their business permit, or something like that. Read some complaints online that there are some stations(not sure here in Cebu) that have contaminated fuels.

Higher octane rating has nothing to do with the carbon deposits in the engines, valves, plugs, catalytic converter.
It's just that those so called "premium" fuels have cleaning additives added that minimize/reduce those deposits aside from the additives that boost the octane rating.
It's not the "octane" that has the cleaning effect on the engine. It's the so called cleaning additives/synthetic detergents that are added.
In simpler terms: Even if you use a 100 octane gasoline but without those "cleaning additives", you will still end up with those deposits.
Each brand of fuel have their own proprietary name for these cleaning additives and I believe even their lower octane gasoline have them.
Suggestion lang ha: Just google the causes of carbon deposits in valves, engines, spark plugs. etc. Wala giyud ang low octane gasoline as one of the causes. Apila na lang sad og google and advantages of high octane gasoline.

The only advantage of a high octane gasoline is it prevents engine-knocking commonly called premature detonation.
However, knocking does not affect low compression/naturally aspirated engines which are mostly the engines on the cars running today.
High compression engines are those turbocharged and supercharged engines of high performance cars. But then, modern high performance engines have anti-knock sensors that prevent premature detonation.

I dont need google bro just to find the answers, I overhauled my own engines from small to big ones, that`s what I observed, I got a cleaner combustion chamber on my engines when using higher octane fuel, I even did my own experiment on which fuel is more combustible using a bond paper, I dont believe directly on advertisements, I test it myself first before I believe
