i agree with the HD800 being very picky with amps. but i trust this guy from headfonics/headphiles with recommending the HD800 and Conductor SL to be an awesome pairing. Now i just need to get my savings in order. hope the wife does not protest that much lol

Nice rigs you got there guys.
@C'thulhu the HD800 is now only abt $1070. This is the cheapest brandnew price so far.
But if i were on your shoes, i'll just hold on to the HD600 and buy a balance amp Woo Audio WA22. That would be a cheaper option. Meantime Moon Audio also has a package deal on the HD800 + HDV800/HDV600

listening to my cheap gears now and i realize how imperfect they are. (queue stomping feet and nodding head. tsk tsk tsk)
I already miss the sound quality of the sennheiser plus desktop amp combo during the meet.

    LOL

    Tks bai.
Yes 2500mw of power is a lot for a portable.
I got these 'coz i have no plans of going full desktop.
    Yes hopefully next meet.

I oblige sir and here it is.
I wake up today early and these greeted me at the breakfast table.
An entry level amp for guys like me on a low budget.

Just got these last saturday and i seem to enjoy the sound of a balanced HD650.

Has anyone tried a balanced iem?

one combo that really impressed me was @foshow's Senn HD-650 + my Burson Conductor. omg that was sublime! in a different level. I have heard the HD-650 a lot of times already before but not like this. it only took a few secs and my mouth was agape. prob the HD-650 was already fully-burned yet the Burson brought it out of this world. I can listen to it for hours. simply perfect! thank God i bought the Burson with me and thanks @foshow for the experience

another eye-opener for me was the @foshow's whiplash copper-silver hybrid 8 conductor IC. wow if you doubt cables can make a difference in sound, yes it will and this will prove it. compared to plain copper (which is just stock) or plain silver (too bright), hybrid is the way to go. planning to get one soon.

Hope we can setup another meet some time. but for now, im pretty sure some more gears will be bought and "upgraded". next time mas higher level pa dyud ni

Yep even if it is at the $1000 price point, you still have to spend at least 3x-4x as much... Need a good amp for that... lets just see where this takes me...
