Some terms used to describe how a headphone/headset sounds.
Usually used during reviews of a particular head/earphone.

AIRY - Pertaining to treble which sounds light, delicate, open, and seemingly unrestricted in upper extension.

ANALYTICAL - Very detailed, almost to the point of excess.

BOOMY - Characterized by pronounced exaggeration of the midbass and, often, dominance of a narrow range of bass frequencies.

BRIGHT, BRILLIANT - The degree to which reproduced sound has a hard, crisp edge to it. All live sound has brightness; it is a problem only when it is excessive.

DARK - A warm, mellow, excessively rich quality in reproduced sound.

FORWARD - A quality of reproduction which seems to place sound sources closer than they were recorded. Usually the result of a humped midrange, plus a narrow horizontal dispersion pattern from the loudspeaker.

IMAGING - The measure of a system's ability to float stable and specific phantom images, reproducing the original sizes and locations of the instruments across the soundstage.

LAID-BACK - recessed, distant-sounding, having exaggerated depth, usually because of a dished midrange.

    NEUTRAL - Free from coloration.

SIBILANCE - A coloration that resembles or exaggerates the vocal s-sound.

VEILED - Pertaining to a deficiency of detail and focus, due to moderate amounts of distortion, treble-range restriction, or attack rounding.

WARM - The same as dark, but less tilted. A certain amount of warmth is a normal part of musical sound.

Guys been busy lately w/ work & about the meet I'll give it my best coz I'm off at work by 7pm & if there will be an overtime if needed, its nearly 8pm that I could be out (even on Saturdays). Anyways I know you guys will have a GREAT TIME, Masters: Korg, foshow, shryock & C'thulhu will lead the way

During the past 2 weeks I also cooked up something new during the ALL Soul & ALL Saints Day weekend. I'm sharing this for Inspirational & Motivation to headphone-crazy people like us guys, Enjoy

Prepping some old cables for new gears

Musical Fidelity NuVISTA ICs & MISSING LINK's humungous power cable

Preparing some tubes (upgrading the stock Chinese Tube to a Sophia Princess Mesh Plate 274B )

Now all set-up the WOO WA6 LE in silver for an added vintage-touch to already vintage gears, plugged in my reliable KOSS PortaPro in the Low Output section for some trial & works just fine

then the HD800 w/ Cardas cables for some serious listening

& lastly lights out for another GLOW in the DARK Toy for me

    OUTCOME:
Not really having a great SQ for me during the first few hours it sounded thin, lacks some punch & I think it needs some burning time as all tube does. It did have some good details in the MIDs & HIGHs (no piercing highs w/ this baby w/c is just good for the ears, not fatiguing) Well just hoping it could improve in the long run
