and they need to consider, pinoy...mga tawo nga mang-labang ILAWOM sa skywalk...

sa LRT, dili "tingali" two lanes ang mawala...most likely, 1 ra para sa poste sa LRT...gawas kung sa istasyon dapit...

and again, planners need to make a long-term thing...not a temporary thing...
dugay pana mawala ang jeepney boss. but best thing is naa nay alternative ang mga public commuters gawas sa taxi. pwedi pa sila kada adlaw mag strike and public commuters would still be safe.

and no, LRT will not take only one lane. it will take aprroximately two lanes too. BRT is not a temporary thing as you said. like it or not, its a long term thing.lols.

hopefuly BRT is a start in improving the public transport system. akong gusto makita gyud unta is naay rail based transpo may it be MRT or LRT as long as taas ug capacity nga mo traverse from Danao to Carcar.. kay ang problem gyud sa syudad is congestion. if only naay mas better way nga ang mga tao pwedi na maka uli sa ilang tagsa2x nga panimalay sa probinsya kada adlaw mas maayo. plus maayo pud na sa mga economy sa probinsya pud mas accessible na sila. kani man sad atong mga politiko mga walay pag hunahuna pud gud.

LRT/MRT is the way to go. BRT is only an expensive short-term band aid solution. LRT should span from Carcar to Danao. That way population will be spread out. Commercial growth would overflow to the neighboring towns. Because of the shorter travel time ang mga tao dili na magpundok ug puyo sa City. Daghan mabulahan. Dili lang Cebu City but Greater Metropolitan Cebu - "Mega Cebu".
