    Cut refers to the step made during the cutting season. In bodybuilding, you will have the bulking season as well as the cutting season. As what i have understood, the bulking season is the season where EATING is the main ingredient.. it is in eating where you will gain weight and produce muscles. Here, you will eat at least 6times a day. So that during the cutting season, your muscles will be mature enough to cut. In simpler terms, the cutting season is just shredding off those fats to show those muscles you've worked for. It is where the dieting starts, the getting-in-shape thingy, shredding..

    kapuyan man ko pa cut and wa sad ko plano mag pa six pack! What i do now, is ako nalang gi bawi sa akong upper body ang ako tommy, para di na ka ayo halata.

    buloi123: mag depende ra na sa imo'ng target. If you are fat, you can make use of it. Fats = Energy and Strength. Lower calorie intake (ex. from 2 cups of rice to 1 or 1 & 1/2) and do cardio exercises once or twice a week. Do it for six months. That way you will lose a bit of fats and gain muscle mass, not much though. Then start cutting! If you are tambok, it doesnt mean you have enough muscles under it... so you still need to work it out... Fat percentage above 35%, take up 6-12 months of cutting time, or else mag bitay ang skin, dili ka apas...
    *Cutting = ripping off fats percentage down to 5-8%... or less than 10%..

    BADDOG2003: Yep, daghan mga tambay nga cut kaayo... mao na sila gi tawag nato ug... "Boy nga solid ug lawas"... hehehe... They have muscles, but most of em are disbalanced. Just like our "boy" here sauna... naa siya six packs, a bit of chest, tricep, and front delts... but gamay kaayo ug back, small biceps, wala klaro ang rear delts, nipis ug legs and totally no traps.
    Cutting is kapoy, but for me it is a lot easier than massing up... You can rip up 15-25lbs of fats in 3-4 months, but its not easy to gain 8-10lbs of muscle mass in 1 year! unless if you juice up! Anyway, right now thats what i do too, i have my tummy but bawi sa upper body and legs... so i dont look fat heheh...

    @crashburn: nah... i like his abs.. dakoan ra ko sa iyang chest, shoulders, delts...nya gamay cya ulo.. hekhekhek..dili proportional. sorry. hehehe
