I just finished watching the game on demand ... my first time I've seen Kobe playing defense in a long time.

It's a good sign that Kobe is playing defense again. However, I'm worried on how it would affect him later in the season. Hopefully, his attempt at defense inspires the rest of the team to play defense harder.
