    Default mITX build suggestion.

i'm helping a friend. kinahanglan siyag pc for office use only. any recommendations for the specs? i suggest mITX kay dli kaayo dakog kawat sa space. budget is around 13,000 dala na monitor, kb and mouse. nana koy specs in mind but i need more inputs.

    need suggestions for
Proc : should be enough for office multi tasking.
Mobo : preferably kanang nanay wifi card daan.
PSU : i think generic will do
    RAM : any cheap rams?
Case : nothing fancy basta barato
    Monitor : preferably 21"
    KB :
    Mouse :

    Salamat daan.

for the cpu bro, a celeron G18xx, G16xx will do... or AMD's APU... bisan lowest model nila... dili man ka mag discrete GPU aning office application. the CPUs iGPU will do too...

kun gusto'g safe and sound ang paminaw, aw, invest ug branded and true rated PSU. kaso lang lagi, lisod pangita dha'g gagmay na wattage for the true rated models. kanang offering sa Corsair na VS450, kumbate ra na. or check Cooler Master. naa mana sila pud mga 420 W dha sa Pinas... on your configuration on the office PC, a 230 W PSU will do the job nicely unta... lisod lang kagi pangita ani dha sa Pinas... tsk tsk tsk...

for your monitor, check AOC dha... nice ni sya for an office PC kay barato lang... i'm a user on their Razor monitor (20")... 5 yrs na ni nko and still perfect. it seems like it is still bnew...

for the case, naa'y mga m-ATX dha sa Gaisano Interpace na less than 1K php... w/ PSU na diay na sila. in ana gamit nko sa duha ka give-away rigs on LGA 775 platform... 6 yrs nato ang rigs... so far, so good sila... wla to sila discrete GPU... gamit lang ang iGPU sa mobo's north bridge with 4 GB system mem (2 x 2 GB), DVD drive and a 160 GB WD Blue 7200 rpm... naka palit diay ko'g ATX chassis w/ PSU dha sa Gaisano Interpace (atbang sa SM) last year. akoa pud tong gi gamit sa give-away rig... mura'g 1.2K php ang price ato...

if mag m-ITX ka, medyo mahal ni'g case ug mobo... nice lang kay gamay ug foot print... mas maka save ka if mag m-ATX ka...

huwat pud ta's comment sa uban...

thanks for the input boss @lloyd_joy . i was thinking about mATX as well but murag mao raman ghapong kwentaha kay if mag mATX ko knahanglan pa ko mopalit ug wifi card. ganahan man gd akong amigo ug built in wifi para wala nalay daw hasol. for the psu, i think i will go for vs450 kay naay daghang stock diri

nakadecide na kog unsa nga specs ang angay but i need for specifics for the mITX mobo if you don't mind. salamat daan boss.

PS - naa ko sa Thailand

Generally, itx mobos are more expensive than atx or matx mobos with the same features.
Also, having built-in wifi will definitely add more to the price of the itx mobo as what ive seen.
If dili ra problema, why not just buy a usb wifi dongle? Cheap ra cya, its what i use and i dont
See any noticeable diference compared to wired conection.

go for mATX nlang ko then mao ni akong gisuggest niya.

    MAINBOARD 1150 ASROCK H81M-VG4 - 1,460 THB
    CPU INTEL 1150 CELERON G1820 2.7 GHz - 1,220 THB
    500 GB HDD WD SATA-3 16MB BLUE - 1,710 THB
    POWER SUPPLY MONSTER 550W - 490 THB
    4 GB RAM PC DDR3/1333 KINGSTON - 1,350 THB
    Cougar Spike - 990 THB
    19.5" LED BENQ VL2040 - 2,690 THB
    KEYBOARD LOGITECH USB K120 - 290 THB
MOUSE LOGITECH OPICAL USB M100R BLACK - 210 THB

Yeah. I would go for mATX also. Use the smallest possible GENERIC chassis you can find kung ganahan jud maka save og space.

    @ bordogoy,

"Not all generic PSU are created equal though"... and this last statement of mine is also "true" to the true rated PSUs...

anyhow, office PC ra man na sya. no need man ka mag discrete GPU, so, wla ra gyu'y kurat... basta lang, gamit lang ug nice na AVR or UPS para dili na ma igo ang PSU ug sudden spike sa current and/or voltage labi na, dili limpyo ang input from the mains (outlet)... bisan gani mga true rated PSUs, kun ma igo sila aning sudden spike, aw, piti dayon... labi na, wala sila OVP or OCP sa circuit nila... not all PSU models from the known PSU companies have this protection man sad gud...

and then just remind your friend to back-up all the business related files on a weekly basis... ug ang mga pinaka important na files, to back-up daily para safe...
