Just these evening, with nothing to do but sit in front of my notebook, i came across an android app called Viper4Android.
DL & installed the driver on my Xperia Z Ultra and run the app with the Walkman player.
So far I'm enjoying the enhancements it can make on the audio that comes out of my headphone. Far better than the audio that comes out of the Walkman app.
I was then thinking since the UI of the X5, DX50, DX90 are Android-based, has anyone tried installing the subject app on their DAPs and use it in conjunction with the DAP?
Does the above android-based DAPs have a Google Play app that can DL on the web like the Sony NWZ-ZX1 player or perhaps install it as apk file?

bai, those DAPs have customised firmware and not really a full Android implementation. so you cant install any apks in it. For DX90 if you are not satisfied with its UI you can Rockbox it.

It's cool to be able to port Rockbox into the DX90.
Not that i got audiophile-ears or can discern the differences, but Rockbox master sampling rate is 16/44 so 24 bit audio will be downsampled to 16 bit audio. Will that make any difference to the ears of audiophile masters?
After all the DX90 is a hi-res dap unit.
