Well in MY very own HONEST opinion (dont want to start an arguement or go against anybody elses opinion) SE is in a different class. Unfortunately, the SE P990 was the biggest mishap that ever hit SE, hence the fast depreciation. But the that did not happen to the other units before P990, the P800, the P900 and P910 all stood their grounds for awhile sustaining high market value. I can attest to this because I had these units except the P910. I do not know of course of the other models of the of SE.
The P990 was a mistake, it was released too late, yet its firmware was still to buggy. But with how I use my P990 for, I am pretty happy with it. It will always be my primary phone, PDA wise, no nokia phone can beat it for me. Multimedia wise, the N95 Rocks too. Touch screen is just a must for me. Heard nokia will start releasing their touch screen phones soon, till then, lets just wait and see.
In the meantime, if you are stumped with the question, to nokia or to se, go with your instinct and follow your thumb. It doesn't matter what others say, its how your thumb feels afterwardslolz.
TO touchscreen or not -to touch *(screen).. hehehe that is the question....

nokia has yet to produce any touch screen phone worth mentioning...(all are big flops)
s.e. and xda and dopood has done remarkable things with that technology...
apple has brought it to the next new level...but thats another topic hehehe!
as what ryan said...if touch screen is a must for you then thats it.
follow your thumb...like for me on the other hand hate touch screen phones so its also easy for me to decide![]()

finally got my new N95. and now I have this sense of calm after weeks of anguish caused by problems with my P990i (which is again in Manila - they are now considering giving me a replacement).

fyi for touch phone fans. RC Goldline has the HTC Touch on sale now. I haven't seen the price though. I've used a unit and I can say it is SMALL and the Flow technology mimics that of the Iphone.
P990 is a good phone provided everything works with your unit.
correct me if im wrong but HTC touch doesnt have any external physical keyboard built into it right?.. phones like this and any other phones that doesnt have any physical keyboards, for me lang is quite a hassle.. esp here sa atoa.. it gets easily smudge by dirt or mag duha duha pa kag tap tap sa keyboard especially when your commuting in a jeepney esp if puno ang jeep and the bumpy roads we have here sa cebu...
yup, the touch doesn't have an external keyboard. so it would be like using an atom... text has to be done through a stylus. it can be solved with 3rd party apps that allow you to text on the screen (emulation of a bigger keypad with multitap instead of qwerty)
Its not the greatest of phones but at least its not expensive for a new Windows Mobile 6 phone. In hong kong, it retails for 2960hkd brand new. I don't know how much it is locally but in hk thats around 18k peso. I saw it for that price in Sham Shui Po
Expect an HTC Touch with keyboard soon. They launched an HTC Touch with a Qwerty already in Japan with NTT Docomo. So it shouldn't be too long before that's been made available in Hong Kong.
